Last updated: October 15, 2024
1. Our Commitment to Copyright
TrollFace Download respects the intellectual property rights of artists, creators, and copyright holders. The majority of troll face memes and emoji variations on our site are deeply embedded in public internet culture and have been widely shared, modified, and republished for over a decade. However, we recognize that specific artistic renderings and unique variations may be protected by copyright.
We make every effort to ensure that the content on our site either falls under fair use principles, is used with permission, or is in the public domain. If you believe your copyrighted work has been posted on our site without authorization, we will take appropriate action to resolve the issue promptly.

5. Repeat Infringers
In accordance with the DMCA, we reserve the right to terminate access for users or entities that are repeat infringers. Accounts or IP addresses associated with repeated copyright violations may be permanently blocked from accessing our website.
6. Fair Use Considerations
The troll face meme, as an internet cultural icon, exists in a complex copyright space. Many of the images on our site are:
- Widely considered de facto public domain due to 15+ years of unrestricted public sharing and modification.
- Used in a transformative, non-commercial context (providing free downloads for personal use).
- Unique artistic renderings and variations that may have individual copyright protection held by their creators.
We evaluate DMCA claims on a case-by-case basis, considering fair use factors including the purpose of the use, the nature of the copyrighted work, the amount used, and the effect on the market for the original work.
